Rector of Djamaâ El Djazaïr Visits Oxford for Conference on Emir Abdelkader

Mohamed Maâmoun Al Kacimi Al Hoceini, the rector of Djamaâ El Djazaïr, arrived in London on Sunday at the invitation of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, part of the University of Oxford.

The rector will deliver a lecture on Emir Abdelkader at the Centre on Monday. His presentation will explore various facets of the Emir’s legacy, particularly his ideas on resistance and peace, highlighting the historical and cultural significance of his contributions.

Upon his arrival at Heathrow Airport, Al Kacimi Al Hoceini was greeted by Algeria’s Ambassador to the UK, Noreddine Yazid, who extended a warm welcome.
