Sooner the better, the longest railway on which lies the wealthy mining project is underway to shelter the iron Monster .“The strategically and operationally design of this future mega project reveal the importance of having a unique railway for iron mining shipment starting from Gara Djebilet-Bechar through Laghouat-Tamanrasset and El Menia-Timimoun –Adrar . Taking the lead in a full steam like progress, the head of state eyeing a « promising land » emphasized the urgent need to get things moving in this strategic sector.: The launching of the Mega project dealing with this Giant – railway network linking mining industry sectors of Laghouat – Tamanrasset and El Menaa. Is seemingly paving the way for crushing development, suiting with an ambitious deal, that of getting Southern cities more closer with Northern ones.
In due time, as per what has been decided, the national railway on the way to meet with with huge economic project related to the national development as a whole. For the time being, Algeria covers 4.737km of railway lines – According the figures given by the public works ministry the length of this railway network is on the way to reach 6.820 km in 2027 – then 9.896 km after the finish line of Algiers Tamanrasset.- To complete such huge project, 15.000 km are expected to join in this dream line junction of the national railway. Considered as being a Trans-Saharan railway passing from Algiers to Blida – Medea then southward in Ain Salah , Tamanrasset downward to In Guezzam over a distance of 2.400 km .
The National agency of studies and follow up of the completion of railway investments (Anesrif) has recently heralded the the wrap up studies related to the realization of 1.048 km of railway connections These studies deal the Northern section linking Chifa and Boughezoul covering a distance of 153 km.-Laghouat Ghardaia –El Menea over 650km While the deep southern section linking Salah Tamarasset over 650km are still on the way to set ready for delivery The making of this project lies in the extension of the median end and its interconnection with the Sahel countries . It is due to spearhead the impulse toward new prospect, that of exporting non hydrocarbons products .The finish line of this economic realization, meets with the big challenge undertaken by the head of state since his swear-in presidential ceremony– A Big kick off, that of proving that determination is taking over, by getting things moving in direction of the merit the country deserve in terms of catching back with «make dream happen »……
