Algerian Ministers Discuss Digital Transition and Modernization of Youth Institutions

Algerian Minister of Post and Telecommunications Sid Ali Zerrouki held talks on Sunday with Youth Minister Mustapha Hidaoui to explore cooperation in advancing digital transition and modernizing youth institutions nationwide.

The meeting focused on connecting youth facilities across all wilayas to high-speed Internet, upgrading their technological infrastructure, and enhancing service quality for young people.

Both sides also discussed establishing pilot centers offering digital training and awareness programs aimed at promoting cyber identity culture and strengthening digital literacy among children and youth.

Additionally, it was agreed to integrate digital workshops into the 2025 summer youth camps program and to form a joint task force to coordinate, monitor, and implement agreed initiatives through appropriate regulatory frameworks.
