Mahrez Wins AFC Champions League with Al Ahli

Saudi club Al Ahli SC, where Riyad Mahrez plays, claimed the 2025 AFC Champions League title after defeating Kawasaki Frontale 2-0 in the final on Saturday at King Abdullah Stadium in Jeddah.

Mahrez’s teammates, Galeno and Kessie, scored the goals in the 35th and 42nd minutes, respectively, with both assists coming from Firmino.

This victory marked a historic achievement for Al Ahli SC, who had previously finished runners-up in 1986 and 2012. It is the first continental title in the club’s history.
