President Tebboune Holds Talks with Oman Sultan

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune met with Oman Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman on Sunday afternoon at Houari Boumediene International Airport in Algiers.

The meeting took place shortly after an official welcome ceremony attended by senior state officials, government members, and accredited diplomats. The two leaders listened to the national anthems and reviewed military detachments of the Algerian People’s National Army (ANP), while 21 cannon shots were fired in honor of the Omani ruler. The Sultan has begun a two-day state visit to Algeria aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.
