Al-Ittihad targets Bennacer

According to media reports, Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad has begun negotiations with Algerian international Ismaël Bennacer, as the team looks to strengthen its midfield with top-tier talent.

Bennacer had previously been linked with a move to Al-Hilal, while Olympique de Marseille, where he played on loan during the second half of last season, declined to make his transfer permanent due to his high salary demands.

With AC Milan’s new coach Massimiliano Allegri reportedly excluding Bennacer from his future plans, the midfielder is now exploring options where he can secure regular playing time — a priority as he prepares for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
