Algeria’s Military Team Takes Home 13 Medals

The Algerian military team that participated in the 1st World Military Martial Arts Championships, held from June 22–25 in Germany, won 13 medals (2 silver, 11 bronze), placing seventh overall, the Ministry of National Defense (MND) said Monday in a statement.

This remarkable performance highlighted Algeria’s growing presence and technical discipline in military martial arts on the international stage. Competing against elite teams from various nations, the Algerian athletes displayed determination, resilience, and high-level skill across the events. The achievement not only reflects their personal dedication but also underscores the efforts of the military’s sports programs in nurturing both physical excellence and national pride.
