Chanegriha inspects and launches key projects at Blida logistics base

Army General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP) and Deputy Minister of National Defense, paid a working visit on Monday, July 21, 2025, to the Central Supply Base “Chahid Mohamed Saoudi, known as Si Mustapha,” in Beni Merad, Blida (1st Military Region).

The visit focused on monitoring the implementation of modernization efforts within the base. After being welcomed, Chanegriha attended briefings by top military officials and toured several workshops, including those for vehicle renovation and equipment manufacturing. He examined modernized military gear and inspected a locally made mobile field hospital.

During the visit, he also laid the foundation stone for a new renovation workshop and storage warehouses and inaugurated a battery production line aimed at achieving self-sufficiency for the army.

In his address to personnel, the General praised the base’s role in strengthening the operational readiness of the ANP.
