President of the Republic receives ENI’s CEO

President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune received on Monday the Chief Executive Officer of Italy’s energy giant ENI, Claudio Descalzi, as part of ongoing efforts to deepen strategic cooperation in the energy sector between Algeria and Italy.

The meeting was held in Algiers and attended by several high-ranking officials, including Boualem Boualem, Chief of Staff to the Presidency of the Republic; Rachid Hachichi, CEO of Algeria’s national oil company Sonatrach; and Amine Remini, Interim Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy, Mines, and Renewable Energy.
