Hamas annouces successfull raid in Khan Younis

Hamas’s armed wing, the Qassam Brigades, has claimed responsibility for a multi-faceted attack on an zionist military position in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. In a statement, the group said its fighters used a combination of light weapons, grenades, and a sniper to “eliminate a number of occupation soldiers” during a close-range raid on a newly established zionist post.

The Qassam Brigades further claimed that a suicide bomber detonated explosives among zionist reinforcement troops and that a sniper “fatally wounded” the commander of a Merkava 4 tank. The group said the hours-long operation also involved mortar and antitank shells before their fighters withdrew.

Hamas did not specify the number of zionist soldiers killed or wounded in the attack, and there has been no immediate confirmation or statement from the zionist military regarding the incident.
