Heatwave forcasted for Sunday , Monday

A heatwave is forecast for Sunday and Monday in several northern provinces of Algeria, according to a special weather bulletin (BMS) from the National Meteorological Office.

The BMS, which is at a “yellow” vigilance level, affects the provinces of Béjaïa, Boumerdès, and Algiers, which will see a significant rise in temperatures on Sunday. Meanwhile, thunderstorms are expected in Adrar, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, and In Guezzam.

On Monday, the heatwave will impact the provinces of El Tarf, Béjaïa, and Annaba. Thunderstorms are also expected on Monday in Skikda, Jijel, M’Sila, Djelfa, Ouled Djellal, Laghouat, El-Bayadh, In Guezzam, and Bordj Badji Mokhtar.
