New police chief appointed in Bordj Badji-Mokhtar

Mouloud Abdelwahab has officially taken office as the new head of police in Bordj Badji-Mokhtar, replacing Abdelghani Rezzag Hebla, who was reassigned to the same role in Khenchela.

The installation ceremony, held Monday evening, was led by Police General Inspector Fayçal Hassani, representing the Director General of National Security, and attended by local civil, military, and judicial authorities.

On the occasion, Hassani emphasized a security approach rooted in institutional coordination and citizen partnership. Abdelwahab expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and pledged to serve with dedication and responsibility.
