Putin arrives in China for security summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are among the more than 20 world leaders attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in the northern Chinese port city of Tianjin.

This meeting is the largest since the SCO was founded in 2001 and is seen as a key platform for non-Western countries to project their influence and strengthen multilateral cooperation
