A Clear stand: The Arab parliament condemns displacement

The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned recent zionist statements calling for the displacement of the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip via the Rafah crossing. The Parliament views these calls as a continuation of decades of ethnic cleansing and forced displacement policies.

Arab Parliament President Mohammed Al-Yamahi stated that these calls are “unacceptable” and a clear violation of international law and UN resolutions. He emphasized that forced displacement is a war crime and a direct threat to international peace and security.

Al-Yamahi reaffirmed that the Palestinian people are deeply committed to their land and will not accept any plans to uproot them. The Arab Parliament completely rejects any attempts by the zionist entity to displace Palestinians from Gaza, the West Bank, or any other part of the occupied territories, and stands against any efforts to undermine the Palestinian cause.

He urged the international community, the UN Security Council, and the United Nations to fulfill their legal and moral responsibilities by ending these violations, providing necessary protection for the Palestinian people, and ensuring they can exercise their right to self-determination and establish their own sovereign state.
