Skikda prepares for inclusive school year

As the back-to-school season approaches, the province of Skikda is getting its educational spaces ready to welcome students under excellent conditions.

The province has established four new classrooms specifically for students with disabilities, a project set to open on September 21. According to the Director of Social and Security Activities, these new additions also include a dedicated class for students with mental disabilities. This is a significant step toward greater inclusion, making it easier for students to adapt and allowing teachers to focus on their specific needs. These specialized classrooms will be located across the province.

In a related effort, the director also confirmed that work is underway to complete the school canteen and pension operations for the 2025-2026 school year.
