Saadaoui launches New sports school season

On Saturday, Education Minister Mohamed Saïd Saadoui and Sports Minister Walid Sadi launched the 2025/2026 school sports season in Ouargla, under the theme “Our Champions in Our Schools.”

The event, held at the “Moudjahid Abdelkrim Bouzakak” Sports Complex, marked the beginning of a revamped and more organized sports season aimed at offering students greater opportunities for athletic participation.

Saâdoui emphasized that this new approach aligns with President Tebboune’s commitment to making schools centers of intellectual, physical, and sports education. Meanwhile, Sadi highlighted that school sports are now a key part of Algeria’s national educational and athletic strategy, aimed at developing future champions.

Both ministries are strengthening their partnership to ensure the availability of sports facilities and support for school competitions, building a foundation for nurturing young talent across the country.
