Students turn ideas into startups with NESDA

Between October 19 and 23, seventy-five student projects received funding through the national CSVF program, led by the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development (NESDA).
The selected projects span health, agriculture, manufacturing, green economy, and services. More than 15 universities took part, including Ahmed Zabana University in Relizane, Tamanrasset University, and Skikda’s August 20, 1955 University all standing out with multiple winning projects.
This spread across regions reflects a growing entrepreneurial culture in Algerian campuses. The CSVF program helps students turn ideas into real businesses through funding, mentorship, and incubation support bridging education and the economy.
With a national goal of 20,000 startups by 2029, Algeria’s universities are becoming not only centers of learning but also drivers of innovation and job creation.
