Algerian FM arrives in Cairo for Africa-Russia partnership forum

Algeria’s Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, arrived in Cairo on Thursday evening at the behest of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

He is set to attend the second Ministerial Meeting of the Africa-Russia Partnership Forum, scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

According to a statement from the ministry, the sessions will focus in particular on assessing the implementation of the 2023-2026 Joint Action Plan and reviewing preparations for the third Africa-Russia Summit, planned for next year. The goal is to inject fresh momentum into the partnership between Africa and Russia.
