Dar El Coran sets PhD exam for Jan 31

The National Higher School of Islamic Sciences “Dar El Coran,” located at Djamaâ El Djazaïr, announced on Thursday that the national entrance exam for the PhD program will be held on January 31, 2026 for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Eligible candidates must register online through the Progress platform and print their exam summons to present on the exam day, along with their ID.
Applications and program choices must be submitted between December 14 and 25. After reviewing applications and appeals, the final list of candidates allowed to sit for the exam will be published on January 20, 2026.
Results of the written exam will be announced on February 4, followed by oral interviews on February 7–8. The final list of successful PhD candidates will be released on February 10.
Candidates must pay the registration fee, and the age limit to participate is 30 years on the exam day.
Those accepted will complete a mandatory two-year intensive residential program at the School.
