Digital trading platforms drive the Fintech conference

The 3rd Annual Financial Market Conference will take place tomorrow in Algiers, hosted by the COSOB at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center.

This year’s edition, themed “Innovative Financing, Digital Transformation, Sustainability, and Financial Inclusion,” will feature the launch of digital trading platforms, reflecting Algeria’s push toward a fully digital financial market. The event will also unveil the Fintech Exhibition, showcasing start-ups and innovative projects from universities.

COSOB President Youcef Bouznada highlighted the conference’s regional importance, with participation from financial authorities in Tunisia, Libya, Oman, as well as the Istanbul Stock Exchange and the Arab Union of Securities Commissions. The International Organization of Securities Commissions will open the conference via video.

The event will also close the FINTALK Challenge, a financial literacy contest that saw 48 participants produce audiovisual content promoting financial culture. Additionally, a Fintech innovation challenge will showcase the best student projects, creating a space for dialogue between innovators and financial sector players.
