First pharma export kicks off from Oum El Bouaghi

Algeria is making waves in international trade with the first export of pharmaceutical and para-pharmaceutical products from Oum El Bouaghi to Oman and China.

This marks a major step in boosting regional security and economic cooperation. The group IMGSA shipped two containers to Oman and one to China, with more shipments planned, including to Yemen. Chinese partners have also requested monthly exports of liquid calcium carbonate, totaling 500 tons a year. Ambassadors and company leaders praised the collaboration, highlighting strong teamwork and promising investment opportunities for the future.
