HATPLC president attends UN anti-corruption conference in Doha

The President of the High Authority for Transparency, Prevention and the Fight against Corruption (HATPLC), Salima Mousserati, is taking part in the 11th session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), being held in the Qatari capital, Doha, from December 15 to 19, according to a statement released Saturday by the Authority.

Mousserati is attending the event at the head of a high-level delegation comprising representatives from several sectors, the statement said.

Organized by the State of Qatar and represented by the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA), the session will address key issues related to anti-corruption efforts in member states, including legal procedures implemented by competent authorities. The conference is bringing together heads of state, ministers, senior law enforcement officials and leaders of integrity, transparency and anti-corruption bodies.
