New digital platform offers support for seniors and families

The Algerian Ministry of National Solidarity has launched “Mourafaka”, a new digital platform designed to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens.

Announced this Tuesday, the interactive space acts as a comprehensive resource for elderly individuals and their caregivers. Rather than just a database, it’s a support system that blends legal guidance with social and community services.

The goal is two-fold: to provide families with the tools they need to care for their loved ones at home and to ensure seniors remain active, protected members of society. This initiative aligns with Algeria’s broader social policy and the rights enshrined in the 2020 Constitution.
