Our History is Greater than their Falsifications

The latest monthly edition of El Djeich magazine dealt with the importance of preserving and protecting our history against and falsification, stating: “Preserving the most precious legacy left by our illustrious ancestors and safeguarding their sacred trust requires an eternal connection to our glorious history and our authentic memory, which is the pulse of our land and the artery that nourishes its present and future.”
Highlighting the fact that the nation is highly in need of loyalty, devotion, and sacrifices in regard to all the attacks that Algeria is facing, some pretentious pedants show up from time to time, falsely claiming to master the intricacies of history and the landmarks of geography, to slander our glorious history and attack our national symbols.
Different opinions and points of view can be beneficial, but only if they are constructive, as stated by El Djeich magazine: “We keep our opinions and debates under the umbrella of the homeland and its supreme interests, and with respect to our history, memory, constants, and sacred values.”
The magazine stressed the importance and sacred position of history inked by the blood of more than 1.5 million heroes who gave their lives for the sake and the freedom of this nation. This rich history cannot be distorted, falsified, or told by anyone; the truth was, is, and will remain forever in the writings. “Our history is not merely tales told by storytellers in the marketplaces for a handful of coins, nor riddles sung by grandmothers to their grandchildren before bedtime, nor a commodity bought and sold by merchants concerned with profit, just as some do at the present.”
All are united for an Algeria attached to its authentic historical, geographical, and cultural dimensions, being the source of its unity, which no one is allowed to transgress, and the compass guiding its triumphant march toward the path of development, prosperity, and victory.
