Perfect start for the Algerian Basketball team

Algeria’s men’s 3×3 basketball team delivered a strong performance in Antananarivo, securing their place in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup. Placed in Group A with Seychelles and DR Congo, the national squad dominated the group stage.

The Algerians opened with a solid 21–18 win over Seychelles, before crushing DR Congo 21–8, led by standout scorer Kamel Abdel Magid Ammour. With two victories, Algeria tops its group and advances confidently to the quarter-finals, where they will face the runner-up of Group C (Tunisia, Egypt, or Uganda) on Sunday.

Last year in Antananarivo, Algeria finished third, and the team now looks ready to climb even higher.
