The Metro extends operating hours for New Year 2026

The Algiers Metro Company announced an exceptional extension of its operating hours this Wednesday, running services until 1:00 a.m. after midnight to mark the arrival of the New Year 2026.

In a statement, the company said the measure aims to facilitate citizens’ mobility on December 31, 2025, by ensuring safe and comfortable travel during the New Year celebrations.
