Tiaret Launches Drug Addiction Treatment Center

Construction recently began in Tiaret province on a non-hospital intermediary center for treating drug addiction, costing 80 million DZD under the sectoral program and set to open in eight months.

The facility will feature reception rooms, medical exams, counseling, rehab, psychological therapy, a lab, and green spaces to help addicts seeking treatment, directed by psychologists.

Local health centers in Tiaret, Rahouia, Ain Heddad, Ain Dahab, and Ain Kerma will refer complex cases here for intensive therapy and psychiatric care, boosting regional support
