Minimum wage Set at 24,000 DA starting 2026

Presidential Decree No. 26-01 setting the national guaranteed minimum wage (SNMG) was published in the first issue of the Official Gazette for 2026.

The decree sets the minimum wage at 24,000 dinars per month for a legal 40-hour workweek (173.33 hours monthly), which corresponds to an hourly rate of 138.46 dinars.

It also repeals all previous provisions, notably the 2021 decree on the SNMG, and takes effect from January 1, 2026.
