Residents call for better access in 400-Housing district

Residents of the 400-Housing district in Draâ El Kahwa, Bordj Menaïel, are urging local authorities to act on long-standing demands, mainly the creation of a safe playground for children and better road access to the city center.

With no leisure spaces available, children are forced to play in unsafe areas. Residents say a vacant plot near the future middle school could be easily developed into a playground. They also call for the reopening of an old access road along the railway to reduce isolation and improve daily mobility, hoping these projects will be included in upcoming local development plans.
