Sonelgaz ready to act amid severe weather

Sonelgaz announced on Wednesday that it has activated emergency plans and set up monitoring units to ensure continuous electricity supply and fast repairs following recent bad weather.

Heavy rain and strong winds affected several provinces, prompting full mobilization of technical teams and equipment. Power outages and technical faults were reported in areas including Tizi Ouzou, Batna, Béjaïa, M’sila, Bordj Bou Arreridj and Boumerdès, but crews intervened quickly to restore supply, sometimes using backup networks.

Sonelgaz said teams remain on high alert until conditions stabilize and reminded customers that the national call center 3303 is available 24/7 to report any power issues.
