Tebboune pushes agricultural mechanization with new cooperatives

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired a working meeting on Monday focused on agricultural mechanization, during which he ordered the creation of specialized cooperatives to rent all types of farm machinery to farmers
The move aims to expand cultivated land and boost national agricultural output, in line with decisions taken at the last Council of Ministers.
The president also announced the establishment of a National Council for Agricultural Mechanization. The meeting was attended by the director of the presidential cabinet, the Prime Minister, and ministers in charge of agriculture, industry, and foreign trade, along with representatives of Algerian companies producing agricultural equipment.
