Zionist forces infiltrate Southern Syrian villages

In a stark escalation, Zionist forces reportedly infiltrated the areas around Ma’ariya and Abidine in the Yarmouk basin, western Deraa, on Saturday, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

Local sources say about 20 soldiers in four military vehicles moved through the zone between 6:00 and 8:30 a.m. before withdrawing.

These incursions follow a similar infiltration on Friday in Aïn al-Zayouane and Swisah, southern Quneitra, highlighting a pattern of repeated aggression and ongoing violations of the 1974 disengagement agreement.

Syria has called on the international community to act decisively, demanding the Zionist forces fully withdraw and putting the spotlight on rising tensions along the southern border.
