CRB advance but crowd trouble mars win

CR Belouizdad booked their place in the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals with a hard-fought 1–0 win over Singida Black Stars in Zanzibar on Sunday night  but the celebration quickly turned sour after the final whistle.

A small group of traveling CRB supporters stormed the pitch and verbally targeted head coach Sead Ramovic, calling for his departure despite the team’s qualification and recent run of positive results. Players stepped in to shield their coach and escort him safely to the locker room.

Match officials recorded the pitch invasion, and the club could now face disciplinary action from CAF. The incident highlights ongoing tension between Ramovic and a section of the fan base, casting a shadow over what should have been a clean, winning night for the Red and Whites.
