Ghrieb chairs national data governance system

Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb on Monday chaired the official launch of Algeria’s national data governance framework at the International Conference Center in Algiers.

Held under the slogan “Sovereignty, Organization and Transparency,” the initiative aims to better control, organize, and protect data while treating it as a strategic asset for public decision-making and national digital sovereignty. The system includes a sovereign inter-agency network designed to ensure secure and efficient data sharing between state institutions, in the presence of High Commissioner for Digitalization Meriem Benmouloud and senior officials.
