President Tebboune receives FIFA delegation and 2026 world cup trophy symbol

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received a delegation from the International Federation of Football (FIFA) this Sunday at the Presidency of the Republic.

According to an official statement, the delegation was led by former German international Jürgen Klinsmann and brought with it the symbolic trophy of the 2026 World Cup, in which Algeria’s national team is set to take part. The visit highlights growing engagement between Algeria and international football authorities ahead of the upcoming global tournament.
