Algeria urges nationals in Lebanon to stay alert

The Embassy of Algeria in Beirut has called on Algerian nationals residing in Lebanon to remain vigilant and strictly follow instructions issued by Lebanese authorities, as tensions continue to rise across the Middle East.
In a statement, the embassy reassured the community that it remains fully mobilized to provide support and assistance. The appeal comes amid growing military escalation and rapidly unfolding developments in the region.
In Algiers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Algeria has set up a crisis unit to monitor the situation of Algerian nationals in the Middle East. The unit operates under the supervision of the Secretary of State in charge of the national community abroad.
The ministry has also activated emergency channels for citizens overseas, including a dedicated hotline and the “DZ Travellers” digital platform for urgent cases. The embassy in Beirut remains reachable by phone and email for assistance.
