Don’t Miss the Blessings: 5 things to do in Ramadan’s final days

Ramadan is coming close to its end. Only ten days remain before we say goodbye to the blessed nights of Iftar, Tarawih, and fasting. We can only hope that this sacred month leaves within us a sense of peace of mind and a positive transformation.

However, the holy month is still here, offering an immense opportunity for us, the Muslim community. These last ten days are the most precious and blessed days a Muslim encounters throughout the year. Their reward is immense, as a single night of sincere worship during this period can be equivalent to more than 83 years of devotion.

So here are 5 best worship actions to focus on before the end of these blessed days, in order to take the very best from them:

1 – Seek Laylat Al-Qadr
From Surah Al-Qadr: “ليلة القدر خير من ألف شهر”
“The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.”
Worshipping Allah on that night is better than worshipping Him for a thousand months (about 83 years and 4 months). Therefore, focus especially on the odd-numbered nights (21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, and 29th) by intensifying duaa, prayers, and good deeds.

2 – Intensify Worship:
Increase your prayers by performing Al-Qiyam and Tahajud. Pray at least 2 to 8 Rak’ahs after Isha or during the last third of the night (before Fajr). Lengthen your Sajdah (prostration), as this is the moment when you are closest to Allah. Speak to Him in your own language while your forehead is on the ground.

3 – Recite the Main Duaa of This Period:
Repeat often : “Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni”
(O Allah, You are Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me).

Also increase Istighfar by asking forgiveness for specific past mistakes. Say “Astaghfirullah” (I seek Allah’s forgiveness) 100 times.

Make personal duaa as well. Create a “dream list” and ask for everything: Paradise, health, family, guidance, and even small worldly needs. The most special moments for duaa are right before breaking the fast and during the last third of the night.

4 – The Coran (The Guide):
Ramadan is the month of the Coran . Read: Even if it is just one page or a few verses with deep focus. Listen: If you feel tired, listen to a beautiful recitation, close your eyes, and reflect on the words.

5 – Give Charity (Sadaqah)
Try to give something every day, even if it is small. The action and the intention (Niyyah) matter more than the value of the gift. Charity wipes away sins, protects from calamities, and brings immense barakah (blessing) to your wealth.
