Niamey talks mark new push in Algeria–Niger cooperation

In Niamey, Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb held in-depth talks on Monday with his Nigerien counterpart Ali Lamine Zeine Mahaman, in a move aimed at giving fresh momentum to bilateral cooperation.

The visit, led by a high-level ministerial delegation and carried out on behalf of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, comes as part of the second session of the Algerian-Nigerien Joint Commission a key platform for strengthening partnerships across sectors.

Earlier, both prime ministers co-chaired the opening ceremony of the session at the Mahatma Gandhi International Conference Centre, setting a clear tone for deeper coordination and renewed ties between the two countries.
