Over 65,000 displaced in Lebanon by Zionist attacks

Lebanese Social Affairs Minister Haneen Sayed told Al Jazeera that 65,000 people have registered in shelters after fleeing recent Zionist strikes.
Her ministry handles shelter and aid for the displaced. She noted another 10,000–20,000 are on the move or staying with friends/family, still registering for help.
“It’s a bad situation people are scared,” she said, recalling the 2024 war with Israel when “we woke daily to drones or blasts.”
She added that the government has banned Hezbollah’s military actions and aims to “restore state authority across all territories.”
