BNA Brings financial literacy to classrooms

The National Bank of Algeria (BNA) is teaching the next generation that money doesn’t grow on trees. To mark National Knowledge Day, the bank has released a colorful, interactive “Financial Education Book” designed specifically for primary schoolers.

To celebrate National Knowledge Day, the bank has unveiled a vibrant, kid-friendly guide designed to turn primary students into savvy money managers. A smart move that was always missing among educational shcools around the world , despite the fact that knowing the secret of making money and saving it  play a crucial role in the future life of these students .

Moving beyond boring theory, the book uses interactive challenges, modern illustrations, and relatable examples to teach kids the basics of earning, smart spending, and the long-term power of saving. The goal is to demystify the banking world and foster rational decision-making before these students even open their first accounts.

This launch is just the beginning of a broader educational mission. While the physical copies will be distributed at major economic events and on International Children’s Day, a digital version is already hitting the BNA website.

With follow-up editions for middle and high schoolers already in the works, the BNA is positioning itself as a mentor for the next generation of economically empowered Algerian citizens.
