Fouka 2 desalination plant returns to full capacity

Algeria’s Fouka 2 Desalination Plant is back to full production after completing scheduled maintenance, now producing 300,000 cubic meters of water per day.
The plant, operated by the Algerian Sea Water Desalination Company, says the restart ensures a reliable and continuous water supply for the region. The maintenance is part of a preventive program aimed at keeping the facility in optimal condition and meeting operational standards, highlighting the country’s commitment to secure essential water resources for its communities.
