Hormuz strait back under control

Control of the Strait of Hormuz has “returned to its previous state,” the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said, attributing earlier disruption to continued U.S. pressure on Iranian ports.
As maritime conditions stabilize, Iran is moving to restore air travel. Six major airports including Imam Khomeini International Airport and Mehrabad International Airport have reopened, alongside hubs in Mashhad, Birjand, Gorgan, and Zahedan. Airlines are preparing to resume both domestic and international flights, signaling a gradual return to normal operations.
