Lawmakers approve bill criminalizing french colonialism

Members of parliament have approved a draft law criminalizing French colonialism in Algeria, following a report issued by the joint committee tasked with resolving differences between the two chambers.

The vote took place during a public session chaired by Council President Azouz Nasri, in the presence of the Minister of Moudjahidin and Rights, Abdul Malik Tashrifat, and Minister of Parliamentary Relations, Najiba Gilali.
