Snap Elections set for July 2

The President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has officially called the electorate to vote in legislative elections for members of the People’s National Assembly, scheduled for Thursday, July 2, 2026, according to the Official Gazette.

The same source announced that an exceptional revision of electoral lists will begin on Sunday, April 12, and run until Sunday, April 26, 2026, as part of preparations for the upcoming vote.
