12th Agro-Food Fair kicks off in Oran

The 12th International Exhibition of the Agro-Food Industry and Catering opened on Wednesday at the “Mohamed Benahmed” Convention Center in Oran, bringing together more than 70 local exhibitors active in various segments of the food industry.

Organized by First Events, the fair gathers producers, equipment suppliers, packaging specialists, service providers, and artisans, showcasing the diversity of Algeria’s agro-food sector.

According to organizers, the event aims to strengthen partnerships between operators, promote local food products, and highlight the latest technological solutions in the industry. It also serves as a platform for banks and insurance companies to present financing and support opportunities for investors.

Expected to attract over 5,000 visitors, the three-day exhibition features live cooking workshops, tasting sessions, professional meetings, and an exhibition space dedicated to locally made products, from dairy and cheese to beverages in various flavors.
