A Week of movie magic for kids in Sidi Bel Abbès

Children and families in Sidi Bel Abbès are in for a cinematic treat as the Moxy Cinema launches a week of free movie screenings to celebrate International Children’s Day.

Running from June 1 to 7, the initiative features beloved family favorites including Big Hero 6, Moana, Toy Story, Baby’s Day Out, Turbo, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Daily screenings will begin at 1:30 p.m., offering young audiences a chance to experience the magic of the big screen.

Organized as part of a national program led by the Ministry of Culture and Arts and supervised by the Algerian Cinema Center, the event aims to introduce children to the world of cinema while creating a fun and educational space for families.

Beyond entertainment, the initiative highlights the role of culture in shaping young minds, encouraging creativity, imagination, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts one movie at a time.
