Algerian MPs head to Ankara to boost Turkey ties

A delegation from the Algerian National People’s Assembly’s Friendship Group for Algeria-Turkey is on an official visit to the Turkish capital, Ankara, from May 11 to 15.

The visit was made at the invitation of Abdulkadir Özel, head of the Turkish parliamentary Friendship Group with Algeria.

The Algerian delegation is led by Massoud Qasri, Chairman of the Algeria-Turkey Friendship Group, and includes Ahmed Sadouk (Vice Chairman), members Mohamed Mechak and Fateh Jenati, as well as lawmaker Samira Barhoum.

The trip aims to boost parliamentary cooperation and deepen the longstanding friendship between Algeria and Turkey.
