Civil Defense teams across southern regions like Ouargla and Ghardaïa hit the road Tuesday with a clear mission: keeping residents safe as the summer heat intensifies.

Launched under the theme “A Summer Without Accidents,” these mobile convoys are bringing vital safety tips directly to local communities.

The initiative tackles the season’s biggest risks, from preventing crop and forest fires to avoiding the dangers of scorpion stings. Officials are also warning against swimming in unguarded ponds and lakes, while promoting food safety and road caution.
