Eid Trade Stays on Track

Most businesses across Algeria remained open for the third consecutive day of Eid El Adha, ensuring continued access to essential goods and services for families during the holiday period.

Out of more than 53,000 traders mobilized under the Eid duty roster, only a handful failed to operate as required, highlighting a strong level of compliance nationwide. Meanwhile, citizens actively used the “Morafikcom” mobile application to report issues ranging from shop closures and missing price displays to hygiene concerns.

The reports underscore the growing role of digital tools in strengthening consumer oversight and improving service quality during peak holiday periods. Authorities said inspection teams carried out field checks and took legal measures against violators in accordance with existing regulations.
