Fans Invited as Algeria Steps Up World Cup Preparations

Excitement is building around Algeria’s national team as the “Greens” open a key training session to fans ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Algerian Football Federation announced that supporters and media will be allowed to attend the team’s full training session on May 31 at Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki, offering a rare close-up look at Vladimir Petkovic’s squad before the global showdown.

Earlier that day, Petkovic is set to unveil his official World Cup roster during a press conference, as Algeria intensifies preparations for its long-awaited return to football’s biggest stage after missing the last two editions.

The Greens are also scheduled for high-profile friendlies against the Netherlands and Bolivia before kicking off their World Cup campaign on June 17 against defending champions Argentina in Kansas City.
